Blancett QuikSert In-line Turbine Flow Meter
NEW! Gas Quiksert models are now available from Blancett!

QuikSert Turbine Flow MeterThe Blancett QuikSert In-line Turbine Flow Meter provides the high accuracy and rigorous design of the standard Blancett turbine, but in a wafer-style mounting configuration. With a unique "between-the-flange" design, the need for mating flanges is eliminated, saving installation time and cost, and allowing for limited space requirements. The meter features a 316 stainless steel housing and rotor support, CD4MCU stainless steel rotor, and abrasion-resistant tungsten carbide rotor shaft and bearings. For fluid models, precision upstream and downstream flow straighteners ensure a high degree of measurement accuracy.

Fluid and gas passes through a turbine, causing the turbine to rotate at a speed proportional to velocity. As each turbine blade passes through the magnetic field generated by the meter's magnetic pick-up, an AC voltage pulse is generated. These pulses provide an output frequency that is proportional to volumetric flow..

Accuracy(Fluid): ±1% of reading for 7/8" and larger meters;
±1% of reading over the upper 70% of the measuring range for 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4" meters
Accuracy(Gas): ±2% of reading over the specified measuring range
Repeatability: ±0.1%(Fluid),±0.5%(Gas),
Operating Temperature:   -150 °F to +350 °F (-101 °C to +177 °C) (Fluid Standard)
Temperatures to +425 °F (+232 °C) (Fluid with high-temp pick-up)
-40 to +330 °F (-40 to +330 °C) (Gas)
Turndown Ratio: About 10:1
End Connections: Wafer-style, ASME/ANSI B16.5-1996
